I am reviewing functions in precalc, and one is the greatest integer function. It looks like a bunch of steps leading up.

Apparently, the equation is \(y=int(x)\).

When I graph it using webcalc, I get a flat line.

When I type it on desmos, it brings up an s-shape with a higher number space and lower number space.

Why is this and how should I graph it?
