Hi, I am confused about how to solve this problem
Find all possible values of $\dfrac{d}{a}$ where $a^2-6ad+8d^2=0$, $a\neq 0$. Enter all possible values, separated by commas.
(1/2a - d)(2a-8d) = 0
a^2 -4ad -2ad+8d^2 = 0
a^2-6ad=8d^2 = 0
so 1/2a = d d/a = 1/2
or 2a = 8d d/a = 2/8
Wait, but are you sure that that is all the possible values? Somehow I feel that there should be two values. I'm not sure though.
Wait, nevermind, I see now that you put two values.
