Inverse Function

 

   How do I get the inverse function for sine, cosine, and tangent?     

 

   Using the calculator in this forum, click the 2^nd button.     

   The sin button changes to asin which stands for arcsin,     

   which is just another way to designate sin^–1.  The tan     

   button changes to atan, and cos changes to acos.     

   Other scientific calculators will work similarly.
