First lets transfer 17/25 to decimal.

We can do that by multiplying 17 and 25 both by 4, giving 68/100

68/100 is equal to .68, so .68 is not greater than 17/25

0.68   =   \(\frac{68}{100}\)

\(\frac{17}{25}\)   =   \(\frac{17}{25}\cdot\frac44\)   =   \(\frac{68}{100}\)

\(\frac{68}{100}=\frac{68}{100}\\~\\0.68=\frac{17}{25} \)      so

So no,  0.68  is not greater than  17/25 .
