Solve the following logarithm below:
log_6 (-5r - 2) = log_6 ( r - 4)
there is no solution to this?

-5r-2 has to equal r-4
-5r-2 = r-4
2 = 6r
r = 1/3 but that would mean you are taking the log of a negative......not allowed no solution
