isn't -.7 > than -.07? [Teacher graded it wrong i think]

Here they are on a number line. Maybe it will help

Remember that negative numbers behave in the "opposite" manner to positive ones...

For instance ....   3 > 2  ..... but -3 < -2

So

.7 > .07    but     -.7 < -.07
