Hypot =18

43 degree angle

find opposite

 

Sine = opp/hyp = opp/18

so

sin43 = opp/hyp

.681998 = opp/18

12.276=opp

Sin  Θ   = opposite / hypotenuse  so...              sin 43 =  x/ 18                   ...            18*sin(43) = 12.275970481116

   where Θ is the angle                          where x is the opposite side
