I was just wondering what you could refer to a and b in \((x+a)(x+b)\)as. I know the roots of this are -a and -b, but is there some specific vocabulary to refer to those two parts in a factored quadratic? If not, what's a more official way to address them without saying a, or b, or those two things at the end of the parentheses of the factor thing?
