Just kidding, sorry: ONE more question!

Find the constant coefficient when the polynomial 3(x - 4) + 2(x^2 - x + 7) - 5(x - 1) is simplified.

It simplifies to 2x^2-4x+7

 3(x - 4) + 2(x^2 - x + 7) - 5(x - 1)

Constant is

3 * (- 4 )  +  2 * 7  + (-5)* (-1)  =

-12   +   14   +    5    =

7   ......just as you found ....good job....!!!

cool cool cool
