There are 2 watermelons and 16 people at the party. Everybody wants a slice of the watermelon. How many slices do you have to cut to be even with the 16 people?
Well you see if you want to cut the two watermelons in 1/8th form then everyone gets 1. If you cut it into 1/16th then you get 2. Although when cutting the watermelon into 1/16th form two of them will equal 1/8th. These are all equal amounts of watermelon. 1/2, 2/4, 4/8, 8/16, 16/32 etc.
