Hi CPhill, please do! A lot of my posts have been censored lately and it's getting quite annoying. I suspect it also creates more work for the mods since they have to go around and unhide the false positives. 

There is a reason why some posts are getting flagged. I'm sure this is to ensure that the posts are positive comments. There can be offensive people in this forum

I probably agree.....the problem is that it is also  blocking out  some perfectly reasonable people, too.....

I think having a couple of trolls here shouldn't make everyone suffer 

I'll agree....unfortunately....I don't have the power to ban  users   (maybe I should  !!! )

But if we ban an account, they could just use an alt account. Do you guys have an IP ban? 

PS: CPhiII, you should also see the messages I sent you. There are a couple of suspicious accounts with innapropriate usernames.

Yes, they can create any number of alternative accounts. But each time they do they lose all the karma they have collected. It's a way of forcing these trolls to start all over again every time. 

Honestly, they do not care about karma. Even though they start over with their karma, which they will actually like because when you get banned you get a negative karma, but they do NOT start over their brain process. 

True....it's like ants at a picnic....we  can get rid  of a lot  of them,  but some may  sneak back !!!!

It's as if they have a clone machine and you have to destroy the clone machine to stop the alts from becoming accounts, such as IP banning the accounts. 

Nice thought, but the ants at my house get all wiped out, because of the ant bait traps we have :)

Also, Melody might remove this question because she does not know what is going on and this question might take over the entire forum. 

Yes, IP bans could be helpful, but it would also impact users who happen to have the same IP or are in the same building and such

Since I've been using this website for a month, cipherstream may be one of several things going on there. I've heard of him. You thought he was a nice guy because he was able to solve a math problem. He continued using chatgpt to respond to questions, which turned out to be wrong so that he could make people get wrong answers. Honestly, I don't know what is up with these users that want to start the fun.

I won't mind if my posts get flagged, because I was part of that big conversation that was over 100 comments long, and the other ones... (Please no ban)
