The center is  (-3, - 2)

The major axis is along x  and the vertices of the major axis  =

(-3 + sqrt (36), - 2 )    and  (-3 - sqrt (36), - 2 ) =

(-3 + 6, -2)   and ( -3 - 6, - 2) =

(3, -2)  and ( -9, -2)

The vertices of the minor axis  =

(-3, -2 + sqrt(16) )     and  ( - 3, - 2 - sqrt (16) )  =

(-3, -2 + 4 )   and ( -3, -2 - sqrt (16) ) =

(-3 , 2)   and ( -3, -6)

The focal length from the center  =   sqrt [ 36 - 16 ]  =  sqrt (20)  = 2sqrt(5)

So...the foci  =   ( -3 + 2sqrt(5), - 2)   and ( -3 - 2sqrt(5) , - 2 )
