CPhill will help you but I am less likely to.

So far you have NEVER said thank you to anyone on any of your threads!

Saying thank you in advance is nice but it is not the same as a proper thank you after the help is actually given.

Also:

The point system is also design for askers, and other, to show their appreciation of the time and effort that the answerer has dedicated to the question. I am not sure if you ever give people a point but I know that you usually don't.

Also:

Answerers are trying to teach and also maybe to practice their own skills. They are not interested in your time scale.

It is a total discouragement to me when someone says an answer must be done by a set time, it suggests that a timely answer, for homework or a test perhaps is of far more interest than learning how to answer the question.

I have not given up on you otherwise I would not be bothering to write all this. I will now watch and see if your behaviour is amended.

Triangles AZY and  ACY have the same height

But base AC is 5/2  of base AZ..so area of ACY  = (5/2) AZY

Similary....triangles ZYC and  AZY  have the same height

But base ZC is  (3/2) base AZ...so  area of ZYC  = (3/2) AZY

And triangles ACY  and  YBC  have the same  height

But base AY is 3 times base  BY....so area of ACY = (3)YBC

So.....

ACY  = (3)YBC    (1)

ACY = (5/2)AZY  (2)

ZYC = (3/2)AZY    (3)

From (1)  and (2)

(3)YBC = (5/2)AZY

(6/5)YBC  = AZY    (4)

And from (3)

(2/3)ZYC  = AZY  (5)

So...from  (4)  and (5)

(6/5)YBC =  (2 / 3)  ZYC

So

[ YBC ] / [ ZYC ]  =    [  2/3] / [ 6/5]

[ YBC] / [ZYC ] =  (2/3) * (5/6)   =  10/ 18  =  5 / 9
