I thought I had the answer for x but I somehow got a negative answer so I'm very stuck on this. This is the last question I have. Sorry. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Since Angle MRN  and Angle QRF are vertical angles, they are equal.....therefore arc MN  = arc QP

(10x - 45)  = ( 6x - 1)     add 45 to both sides, subtract 6x from both sides

4x  = 44      divide both sides by 4

x  = 11

Therefore....arc MN  =  10x - 45  =  10(11) - 45  =  110 - 45  =   65°

To find arc NP    subtract   arcs MN and QP from 360  =  360  - 2(65)  =  360 - 130  =  230°

This is the sum of the remaining arcs NP  and MQ......but since angles MRP and MRQ are equal, then arcs NP and MQ are also equal......So  arc NP  =  230/2   =  115°

Finally, arc NQP  =  360  - arc NP  =   360 - 115  =  245°

Whenever you have a mistake like that guest, a good strategy is to re do the problem again. If you keep making the same mistake over and over again, clear your mind and come back after ten minutes of doing something relaxing. I guarentee you would solve it!
