A lattice point is a point whose coordinates are both integers. How many lattice points are on the boundary or inside the region bounded by y = |x| and y = -x^2 + 9?

Boundary points = 5 + 5 =10
Interior points = 24
So....34 lattice points
Incidentally.....area of bounded region = 24 + 10/2 - 1 = 28
