Let F, G, and G be collinear points on the Cartesian plane such that FG/GH = 1.   If F = (a,b) and , H = (6a,c) then what is the x-coordinate of G?

If   FG / GH   = 1......then G is the  midpoint of FH

So....to find the  x coordinate of  G we have  that  [ 6a + a ]  / 2 =   (7/2)a
