Let f(x)=4x²+2x-2.

\(f(-3)\\=4(-3)^2+2(-3)-2\\=28\)

f(x)= 4*x²  +  2*x  -  2

f(3)= 4*3²  +  2*3  -  2

you can simplify it

f(x)= 4*x²  +  2*x  -  2

f(x+1)= 4*(x+1)²  +  2*(x+1)  -  2

and you can simplify it.

Can you see how I am just replacing x with whatever is in the bracket?

The last one you do the two seperately and then add them together.

\(f(x+1)\\=4(x+1)^2+2(x+1)-2\\=4x^2+8x+4+2x+2-2\\=4x^2+10x+4\)

Guys thanks for answering, but I was wrong it must be f(x)=4x²+3x-2. If you can solve it for me thanks in advance but if no it's okay 'cause I knew how to solve it because of you guys
