My mom was drunk and was driving late at night. She crashed into a tree and died on impact. There was nothing they could do to save her.

But no most of that was true. She was drunk and driving home and got in an accident. She was sent to the hospital and got her license suspended.

I know two separate families that lost their mum that way.

It is not really a great thing to joke about.
