I am having problems evaluating a limit as x approaches 0 for f(x)=sin(5x)/x. I know L is 5, but my other numbers (x) do not add up to f(x) or approach 5 i should say.

I have x values of -.1, -.01, -.001, .001, .01, and .1

Well, the function to find the limit=1/x

OR,

1/(0/(f(x)) = (sin(5 x))/x)

Are you using degree values or radian values? My choice would be radian values.
