Let  (a, b)   be the other endpoint.....so we have that

(x +4 + a)                                                    (1/2)y + b            

________   =    3                                      _________    =     -2

Multiply both sides by   2

x + 4 + a   =  6                                          (1/2)y + b   =   -4

subtract  x + 2                                          subtract  (1/2)y from both sides                                 

from both sides 

a  =   2 - x                                                    b  =  -4 - (1/2)y

So.....the answer  is     (2 - x ,  - 4  - (1/2)y)
