Given line slope ,  m = 3/2       perpindicular slope  = - 1/m  =  -2/3

 

y = -2/3 x + b      sub in the given point to calculate 'b'

6 = -2/3 (-12) + b        shows b = -2

 

y = -2/3 x - 2
