The web2.0calc has a button ln (LN). When I scroll over the button it gives the text:
Logarithm of Number x to Base e, IN(x).

Would someone care to explain this button?

Thanks

base e:
ln( e^2 ) = 2
ln( e^3 ) = 3
ln( e^4 ) = 4
ln( e^5 ) = 5
...

base 10:
log( 10^2 ) = 2
log( 10^3 ) = 3
log( 10^4 ) = 4
log( 10^5 ) = 5
..
