Find a/b when 2log(a-b)=log a + log b. I've tried everything I can think of but I have no idea how to solve it. Please help thanks!
By properties of logs, 2log(a - b) = log a + log b
==> log(2(a - b)) = log(a + b)
==> 2a - 2b = a + b
==> a = 3b
==> a/b = 3
