In general logb(x) = n means that x = bn, where b is the base.

 

In your case, if b = 10, then x = 10-0.596 

 

$${\mathtt{x}} = {{\mathtt{10}}}^{\left(-{\mathtt{0.596}}\right)} \Rightarrow {\mathtt{x}} = {\mathtt{0.253\: \!512\: \!863\: \!049\: \!790\: \!8}}$$
