I googled it and this was the answer.

It really only depends on how much saliva is in your mouth and how fast you eat it. Really, it is true that the world may never know.

I think that's a silly answer, I think that you should have one, or better still, a whole packet of them, and count the number of licks that you take !

We could then do some statistical analysis of your results!

By the way, what is a tootsie pop
