You got to add all the scores together then divide it by the number of scores:
0 + 0 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 6 = 60
There are 7 scores
60 ÷ 19 = 3.157
The mean hockey score is 3.2

If we made a list of every score, we would get this list:
0, 0, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6
mean = (0 + 0 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 6) / 19
What do you get if you calculate that?
60/19=3
1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 6=60
