I did it like this: 2x=15+9
2x=24
x=24:2
x=12 If this is wrong please how to do it and why is like that?

15-2x=9 subtract 15 from both sides
- 2x = -6 divide both sides by -2
x = 3
15-2x=9
-15 -15
-2x=-6
-2
x=3
