-3x^-4y^0

Simplify the following:
(-3 x)^(-4 y^0)

y^0 = 1:
(-3 x)^(-41)

Multiply each exponent in -3 x by -4:
(1)/((-3)^4 x^4)

(-3)^4 = (-1)^4×3^4 = 1×3^4:
1/(3^4 x^4)

3^4 = (3^2)^2:
1/((3^2)^2 x^4)

3^2 = 9:
1/(9^2 x^4)

9^2 = 81:
Answer: |1/(81x^4)
