What is negative six to the 2nd power minus (bracket) 56 divided by (parenthesis) negative 17 plus thirty one (parenthesis) (bracket) plus 25

 

You would have been better off just putting the bracket symbol that you wanted. Yours was confusing but I think this is what you wanted.

 

 

\(-6^2-(56/\{-17+31\})+25\\ =-6^2-(56/\{14\})+25\\ =-6^2-(4)+25\\ =-6^2-4+25\\ =-36-4+25\\ =-40+25\\ =-15\)
