what is the common multiple of 8 and 7

The multiples of 8 are
8,16,24,32,40,48,56,64,72,80,....
You have to find the one that is also a multiple of 7.

An easy thing to do is list the multiples of 8 and 7:

So, for starting off: 8: 8, 16,24,32, and so on. Try listing multiples until you find a common number.

OR

You can multiply 8 and 7.
