Dria is writing a peice of music. She has decided to replace a 3/4 which takes upv3/5 of a small section of the music called a measure, with 1/8 notes which each take up 1/8 meause.

How many 1/8 notes will Dria need to replace on 3/4 note? How many one-eighths does it take to make three-fourths? Show your work.

Don't you think you forgot the most essetial part of the piece of music she is writing? Namely, the "Time Signature" of the piece, or how many beats per meaure and the time value of each note!!. If it is "common time", or 4/4, ONE 3/4 note will occupy 3/4 of the bar!. Of course, one 3/4 note=three 1/4 notes or six 1/8 notes.
