One of the Pythagorean Identities for trigonometry says that sin2(x) + cos2(x) = 1.
If sin(x) = 0.35 and cos(x) = 0.60, then sin2(x) + cos2(x) = (0.35)2 + (0.60)2 = 0.4825.
Since this does not equal 1, the situation is impossible -- the answer is "false".
