To get from 2y+4x=11 to slope intercept form (y=mx+c) you have to solve for y
2y+4x=11
-4x -4x (get y alone on one side of the equation)
2y/2=(-4x+11)/2 (this will remove the co efficient from y)
y=-2x+11/2
so your slope is m=-2
and you y intercept is 11/2
