I just don't get this question... Can someone explain it to me?

u=vw+z, for v

 

At the moment u is the subject because u is out the front by itself.

I think that you are being asked to make v the subject.

When solving, or rearranging equations you basically do PEDMAS in REVERSE

so 

1) subtract z from both sides

2) Divide both sides by w

Now swap sides and V will be out the front by itself.
