Well....I don't know how "smart" I am.....but I'll give it a shot..........

Multiply through by 5 to clear the fraction

2q + 25(-q + 1) = 0     simplify

2q -25q + 25 = 0         combine lie terms

-23q + 25 = 0             subtract 25 from both sides

-23q = -25                  divide both sides by -23

q = -25/-23 = 25/23

And there you go.....
