order of operations division before addition

10/10 +  10/10    

 

In the order of operations, we perform any divisions/multiplications we encounter from left to right before any                     additions/subtractions    

 

We first encounter division......so we have 10/10  = 1

 

This gives us

 

1 +  10/10     

 

Next  we perform the division  [again ] before the addition 

 

1 + 1    =

 

2  !!!!
