Call the first integer x, the second x + 1  and the third x + 2

And we know that   [x ]+ [x + 2] = 118

So

2x + 2 =118   divide both sides by 2

x + 1 = 59     subtract 1 from both sides

x = 58 = the first integer

And the second integer is one greater = 59
