If each pair of earring requires ¾ foot of wire,

how many pairs of earrings is Navya able to make?

\(\begin{array}{|rcll|} \hline && \frac{ 10+\frac12 } { \frac34 } \\\\ &=& \frac{ \frac{20}{2} +\frac12 } { \frac34 } \\\\ &=& \frac{ \frac{21}{2}} { \frac34 } \\\\ &=& \frac{21}{2} \times \frac43 \\\\ &=& \frac{21\cdot 4}{2\cdot 3} \\\\ &=& \frac{21\cdot 4}{3\cdot 2} \\\\ &=& 7\cdot 2\\ &=& 14\\ \hline \end{array}\)

Navya is  able to make 14 pairs of earrings.
