Well, there is this "magical" thing that all rinks use that keeps the ice icy, even though, if you have not noticed, your cup of water does not freeze. There is somthing under the ice that is colder then the ice, keeping it cold. :) So, it can be done, but indoors only.

It could just be held inside, I guess.
