Rational numbers are just ordinary numbers
They can be expressed exactly as a fraction.
They can also be expressed exactly as either whole numbers (positive or negative), terminating decimals or recurring decimals.
so if you can't do it on paper or in your head, you can do it and get an exact answer on a normal calculator.
