A prop for the theater club’s play is constructed as a cone topped with a half-sphere. What is the volume of the prop? Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a cubic inch. Use 3.14 to approximate pi.

Close, but that's just the volume of the cone. So the cone is 1186.92, but the sphere is 1520.04  You can see this with the formula for the volume of a sphere: \(\frac {\pi r^3 4}{3} \) but don't forget it's a semi-sphere, so it's half of that. so the total volume of the prop is 2706.96
