hi!17+(-8). ok, this is 17 added on to it -8. I know it might not make sense, but think of a number line. Start at 17. since you are adding less, go backwards 8. 17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9. 9 is your answer. if you want to do it the easy way, do 17-8. it's the same thing.
