a wheelchair ramp is install and covers a horizontal distance of 4 meters so that will clear a vertical rise of 37 cm. the angle of incline must not exceed 4.75 degrees. dose the ramp meet the requirements
We can use the tangent inverse to anwer this.....note: 4 m = 400cm
tan-1(37 / 400) = about 5.28°
