-6x + 2  =  3(-2x + 1)

-6x + 2  =  3(-2x) + 3(1)

-6x + 2  =  -6x + 3

Add 6x to both sides:

         2  =  3

This is impossible; therefore, there is no possible solution to this problem.

-6x+2=3(-2x+1)

-6x+1/(-2x+1)=3(-2x+1)/(-2x+1)

3x/1x=3

x=1

\(\frac{-6x+1}{-2x+1}\text{ doesn't equal }\frac{3x}{1x}\text{. }\)

\(\text{Geno's answer is correct. This equation have no solutions.}\)
