First, let's get it into 'standard' form:

-6x + 2y = -18

Add 6x to both sides:

2y=6x-18

Divide both sides by 2

y=3x-9                         Do you recognize this form?   Remember  y = mx + b    ?    This form is the equation of a LINE

No terms are 'squared'....In other words, no pieces of the equation have an EXPONENT, so it is NOT EXPONENTIAL ....   Cool?
