What is the equation for area???

Area = Lenght x Width  = L x W

For a square each side is the same length :  L = W

so for this canvas    ,    area is given as 45 cm^2  =  L x L = 2L

2L = 45     then   L = 22.5 cm  to one decimal point.

area of square is l^2 so 45 rootsquare is the length of the side and not l*2...

Answer: 6.7 cm

Area= L x H

Square so L=H

so

Area is L X H which is L square

45= 6.7 X 6.7 cm
