After taking part in a competition, Harold received a gold medal with a diameter of 6 centimeters. What is the medal's area?

So, the formula for area of circle is Pi X Radius2

You take the diamiter and half it, to get 3, and square that, to get nine. The answer is 9Pi, or About 28.24 :)
