Is this a line?   Is it equally bisected in to AM and MB?  Or are these two unequal segments of line AMB?

To find AB, we must first find A and B.

Finding A:

\(AM = 3x+8 \rightarrow A= \frac{3x+8}{M}\)This was just done by dividing both sides by M.

Finding B:

\(MB = 6x-4 \rightarrow B = \frac{6x-4}{M}\)This is strikingly similar to the above.

Now, we can find AB like so:

\(AB = \frac{3x+8}{M} * \frac{6x-4}{M} = \frac{(3x+8)(6x-4)}{(M)(M)} = \frac{18x^2+36x-32}{M^2}\)

Easy enough, right?
