do you mean this- if you do not mean this then you need to put some brackets in.

3 e^3 y−1 = 5 x^3+7

\(3 e^3 y−1 = 5 x^3+7 \\ 3 e^3 y = 5 x^3+8 \\ y =\frac{ 5 x^3+8}{ 3 e^3 } \\\)
