Would you rather sell a batch of 30 cookies for $.50 each with an expense to make them of eight dollars or the entire batch of 30 cookies for $15 with an expense to make them six dollars
30(.50) - 8 = 15 - 8 = $7 profit
15 - 6 = $9 profit
30 cookies @ 50¢/cookie is 15 dollars.
Since the selling price is the same either way, of course I'd rather my expense be 6 dollars instead of 8.
